An aggressive and powerful pickup

Designed for rock and metal... but with a wide frequency response and subtlety when you roll back the gain.

Triple magnet configuration in the bridge... 3 ceramic magnets on this bridge pickup keep things as tight as can be imagined

A single Alnico 5 in the neck brings up some bluesy tone too.

20% over height bobbins for treble response. 16.1k bridge... 8.4k neck, but much more powerful than that DC resistance would suggest.
Wound with AWG43 wire and the taller bobbin keeps more of the wire closer to the blade pole piece which helps keep the pickup from getting too bass heavy or wooly

This is a special set that Ash made for us that we never got round to putting in a Schenker inspired V, but we did have them installed in a superstrat for testing purposes

The cables were trimmed a bit for the respective positions
